Soccer-thon Fundraiser

Calling All GHSC Parents and Supporters! 
Save the date; Sunday, August 30th! We are excited to announce our third annual Soccer-thon; an important fundraiser with all proceeds directly benefiting our players and coaches.

Hopefully you have received an email from 99Pledges sent to the email address you used to register your player, and it included a link to your child’s online pledge page. You do not need to log in or change anything. You’ll be able to make a donation if you so choose, and share your player’s link with friends and family. We are shooting for 100% participation so no amount is too small. If by chance you did not receive the email, you’ll be able to search the site for your player’s pledge page. If your player is not on the list, please let us know and we’ll get you set up.

U6-U19 players will have 10 balls to shoot and see how many goals they can score with those 10 balls in 60 seconds. Maximum is 10. Donations can be flat rate or per goal. Distance from the goal will be based on age. Average successful goals are 7 goals per player. 

Tots will participate in a fun obstacle course and then kick a goal at the end. Because of their age and the different format for them, we respectfully ask that donations for our Tots players be one flat rate donation.

Our fundraising goal is $25,000, and all proceeds will be used for off-season improvements for all of our fields (aerating, weed abatement, top dressing, over-seeding, fertilizing and temporary fencing to protect the seeds during germination), replenish our supply of puggs, pinnies, cones and balls that we loan to every team for the season, as well as new nets and wheels for our current goals.
